The team of Paul Batten and Adam Wright finished 1st 2WD and 11th outright in the final round of the 2009 Victorian Rally Championship driving a Datsun 1600. Batten, who was using the round as a warm-up for the Alpine Classic Rally was happy with the result. 2nd 2WD was Brian Semmens in a Nissan 200SX.
