Batten leads Alpine Rally after daylight stages

Paul Batten leads the Alpine Rally in his Datsun 1600.

Unofficial results after SS15 of the Yokohma Alpine Rally. After a meal break in Orbost, cars were set to leave on the night stages, including a 33km tarmac stage to start the night.

A further seven stages face competitors tomorrow, including the event's longest, at 45km.
